Pumpkin Patchin'

This weekend we took advantage of a fabulous fall day and went out to Lone Pine Farms to indulge in fall festivities.  It's really quite an amazing place!  They have horse and tractor drawn hayrides, a petting zoo, a pumpkin patch, an enormous playground structure (that was just teaming with little ones), they even have a corn maze carved into an acre of land!  Norah had a great time watching the horses as they pulled us through the orchards and brought us to the pumpkin patch.  And she loved walking through the pumpkin patch and seeing all of the big pumpkins.  We skipped the corn maze, as it takes a few good hours to do, but we'll catch it next year!  It was great to enjoy some quality family time!  I started my job this week and Greg and I have been feeling like ships in the night, making it even more special to get this time together!

Attempt at a self take family photo... kinda hard with a big camera!

Horsies!  Norah got a front row seat to watch the horses pull us around the farm!

Trotting along the corn maze.  To the pumpkin patch!

We got dropped off at the pumpkin patch to walk
around and pick out pumpkins

Norah found one just her size!

Check it out Daddy!

Norah liked to look at the horses, but she didn't want to touch them.
They were big horses, each weighed 2500 pounds!!!
