Bishop Gets a Bath!

For a dog that loves water like Bishop, you might think that a bath is just another excuse to splash around.  Not the case.  Bishop hates baths and does everything he can to avoid getting sprayed, squirted or splashed.  In the past it is a task that I have taken on myself in our own little bathroom, which involves locking him in and giving myself a bath as well.  No fun for anyone!
So when a small family of fleas made a bath necessary again it was time to call on the professionals.  Tegan gave me a great tutorial at the local 'Suds 'em Yourself' dog wash.  And Bishop did surprisingly well.  He got lots of treats and felt super handsome when he was done!

Sing-a-long Songs

We like to sing lots of songs, my favorite way to sing to her is to make up new words to songs, most of which seem to be Christmas carols (as Norah Rose has as many syllables as Santa Clause, Ho Ho Ho and Jingle Bells).  It seems harmless now, though she may have some confusion around the holidays as to why everyone is singing her songs with the wrong words!

See if you can name that tune!

Here Comes the Sun!

We were treated to a preview of the summer sun with some great eighty degree weather.  Norah sported her spritely spring dress as she was introduced to some of the beauties blooming in our garden.  The nice weather inspired and impromptu front yard picnic with Sean and Kelsey.  Norah had lots of fun soaking up the sun!

Toddle the Turtle

I'd like you all to meet Norah's friend Toddle the Turtle.  He and Norah have become fast friends as of late.  Norah likes Toddles fancy flippers and bite sized head...the easier to chew on!  Auntie Magda sure can pick 'em!

I'm Ready For My Close Up!

As Norah passes the three month mark she is showing off lots of new tricks!  She is getting more conversational, exploring her soprano range and volume control.  She is always looking around and smiles like its going out of style!  She loves tummy time and is excited by the new view on her surroundings.  She always has lots to say when she's on her tummy!

Greg and I are enjoying introducing her to all the new colors and smells of spring.   She is also treating us to some nice long restful nights, which is a priceless commodity these days!  School is going well, less than two months to go before the full freedom of summer!  I  can't wait!

As some of you know, we recently lost our computer to a clumsy bottle feed, which means that we lost almost all of Norah's photos since she was born.  I was so thankful to have the blog as a reserve for all of our favorite pics.  So now you may understand if I go a little overboard with uploading photos of our favorite Norah moments!  Many of these were in an attempt to avoid paying a photographer at JCPenny to dance around with a squeeky toy in attempts of getting her to smile.  Hope you enjoy!

StoryTime!

"Tell me a story Mom!"

"Uh oh!  What happens next?!"
"They did What?!"
"What happens next?  I can hardly wait!"
"Oh good, I love happy endings!"
