McKenzie River at Armatige Park

Norah is a little water bug, she tried to get in the river every chance she had.  Finally I gave in and let her check it out.  I was curious about her reaction, which was pure delight.  She just stood there and laughed, very proud of herself.  This is after Norah stuck her feet in the water.  She walked in up to her diaper, and she would have gone further... but then I would've had to get wet too.

Robin's Rendezvous

Robin was out touring the Pacific Coast, all the way from Vancouver, British Columbia to San Francisco.  We caught up with her in Yachats for a day of fun in the sun.  It was the first time she had met Norah and they were an instant fit!  We tried to have enough fun to convince Robin to move out here... I think we came close!

What a match... literally!

Walking the coast

The purple pair

I had to keep a close eye on Norah, she was not at all scared of the waves, she walked right out to them and the higher they splashed the more fun she had!  She was quit fearless!  But I made up for her!

So happy together!

Getting ready to splash in the waves!

Another purple pair!

Ball!!!  BIG Ball!

Mother's Day

We went for a bike ride around Doreena Lake on Mother's Day.  It's a wonderful trail, built over a railroad, like so many trails back in the Midwest.  I love it because they are almost always pretty flat!!  The scenery is pretty remarkable.  Put a lake in the foothills of the Cascades and it doesn't take much to have killer views and choice picnic spots.  Norah loves her little trailer pod, and she really loves getting out and exploring.  It's so much fun to have fun in the sun with the whole family, and it was all I wanted for Mother's Day!

Alton Baker Park

After a lovely happy hour along the shore of the Willamette River we spent the afternoon at Alton Baker park, a popular stomping grounds for local ducks and geese.  Norah was enthralled by the river and all the ducks.  It is so fun to watch her interact with new surroundings.

A field of little daisies was quite a find

Norah had lots of fun picking the daisies and throwing them up in the air.
