Todd Times 2009

Among our list of fall visitors is our friend Todd, who shacked up at our new place for a few home cooked meals and some good Oregon trails on his road trip back home to Colorado.

We visited the beach where we're getting married next summer, just south of Yachats (yaw-hots).
A sweet Father-Daughter moment.
This is the house that we're getting married at next summer!
Save that date 8-7-10!

Auntie Becca and Uncle Scott

Norah was happy to have her Auntie Becca and Uncle Scott come for a visit this fall.  It was Uncle Scott's first time visiting Oregon, so we wanted to show him some highlights that would leave him wanting more!  Mostly we just let him hang out with Norah, as she is the best thing in Oregon we have seen to date!

We started with an intro to wine country and stopped for a bottle of the Willamette Valley's finest at Erath vineyards
(the second vineyard established in Oregon!)

Norah and the boys!
The whole gang post pinot gris!
We then moved on to the coast where we stayed in a cozy yurt for the night.
Our little yurt home, just a hop skip away from the crashing waves of the Pacific.  And oh so affordable at $35 a night!
Norah with her Auntie and Uncle enjoying the ocean vistas.
Checking out the wind surfers!  Hard core!  They would catch 10 feet of air hopping around those waves!

Sisters!

More Trail Times

Norah and I are getting some good hiking in before this summer wraps up.  Greg takes his bike to the trails and Norah and I spend some time communing with the woods... at a much slower pace ;)
Here are some of our most recent highlights
