We had our first family air travel adventure to visit Papa and Dede in Chicago. It was, to say the least, a blast! I won't say that the air travel was a highlight, it was, however educational--direct flights only from here on out! But spending the week at Papa and Dede's was like having all the joys of family, all the comforts of home and all the luxury of a resort all wrapped up in one! We were in the pool the WHOLE time -- morning coffee in the pool, mid-morning lap swim, after lunch warm up beer, afternoon volley ball, celebratory cannonballs, poolside dinners, evening floats and night time toe dips. Norah could not get enough! It was amazing and at times, alarming to watch Rozlyn pick up on Norah's complete lack of fear in the water! Before we knew it we had two girls jumping off the side and going underwater. Never a dull moment! It was full of memories that will warm us all winter long.
