Back in the Field

We headed back home for yet another whirlwind tour of the Midwest... I'm beginning to believe that the whirlwind effect is nearly impossible to avoid!  We celebrated Halloween in Marshfield with the Meyer clan.  It was great to have everyone together again!

These two are just like sisters!
They pick up right where they left off every time!

We went for a walk out at the Mead, an incredible preserve where Steve spent time volunteering, building a boardwalk.  Sue is arranging a lovely memorial bench along the boardwalk.  A place to sit and reflect on the quiet beauty that surrounds us, just as Steve would have us do.

Such a little buddy!

The Mead has an even more special place in our hearts.  Going there is a way we will always be able to tap into Gimpa's peaceful spirit.

Riding in style!

This girl loves to be upside-down!

Our little energizer bunny (the glasses and shades were very short lived!)

Don't you get any ideas about taking this bunny's candy!

Powered by duct tape, paper towels, tin foil and all kinds of sugar!!

These two win best costume!

Jungle Gym Queens!  Norah got to the top with me... without any help!  Such a monkey!

Sweet swingin times
