Norah and I took Grandma, or Gaga according to Norah, to our favorite waterfall trail along the McKenzie River. Norah walked all the way from Sahalie Falls to Koosah Falls, which is well over a mile! She then took up residence in the backpack and napped for the rest of the hike. Meanwhile Greg had his inaugural mountain bike ride along the entirety of the McKenzie River Trail... uphill.
Here are some highlights!

You've chosen your visiting spots well ... the trail between Sahelie and Koosah is one of my favorite places on earth, and I've seen almost all of the most lenegdary beautiful spots in the U.S. If you get back in that direction, may I recommend Salt Creek Falls as well ... a little more off the beaten track, but right next to Highway 58 going southeast from Eugene, about an hour's drive from Eugene. Happy traveling!
